A World to Discover: Underwater Adventures

One of the wonderful attractions of the West is being able to dive and even more so when it comes to the wall. The wall, which the locals call “contour” is nearly 40 km long and passes in front of Guánica, La Parguera and Cabo Rojo.

Departing from the pier of Guánica, nearest point from the coast to reach the wall, with diving equipment on board head to discover the unknown by many, the underwater world. Initially you will focus on breathing, which you will forget with all you will see minute by minute.

Descending you will begin to enjoy the variety of colors in all marine life ranging from sponges, fans, gorgonians, black coral and many other. Corals are amazing! In a short distance from the shore you can see different types of manta rays, cat sharks, caribbean red sharks and dolphins. The visibility of the site is between 65/100 feet. The most impressive moment of the dive is arriving to the fall of the wall; we compare it as watching the central mountain range underwater.

It really is a unique experience that deserves to be on the list of things you have to do in life. This adventure can be performed with diver Pedro Padilla of Island Scuba during any of the 365 days of the year as long as weather conditions allow. It does not require a minimum of people. So discover diving this new year, shouting out loud that the experience is on another level!
