This summer I participated Environmental Residential camp sponsored by the Jobos Bay National Reserve and Dialogo Ambiental. Here I got to know the Jobos Bay Reserve and its resources.
I also got to visit the Humacao Nature Reserve and Casa Pueblo in Adjuntas, which became the best road trip ever. I learned about its history and its famous coffee as well as the hydroponic gardens that are in the facilities. Casa Pueblo has its own radio station and I had the opportunity to be broadcaster for a day, I loved talking on radio!
After visiting Casa Pueblo we went to “Bosque del Pueblo” Forest, you need transportation and reservations to get there. This forest is beautiful and the view is spectacular. Therefore, I recommend visit and experience a different day in the field; also participate in next year’s camp.
